Finally, you can choose art program lessons that you know will create engagement, utilize strengths and result in successful outcomes for all.

Have you ever chosen an art idea for a program, only to realize that it was too difficult, required too many materials, or needed way more time to complete than you anticipated?

Projects that all look the same for each individual, with no flexibility for creative expression.

Projects that require too much hands-on support.

Projects with an overwhelming amount of materials and steps.

Projects that do not provide social stimulation or engagement opportunities.

You know you need projects that are catered to the unique needs and diverse cognitive abilities that people living with dementia possess, but you don’t know where to start.

You just need access to lessons that have already been tested and proven successful, so YOU don’t have to take the time and resources to go through that trial and error process, at the expense of your and your participants time and exasperation.

There’s GOT to be a better way to create success in your art programs.

What’s included:

Short video lessons

Each video lesson in this membership is less than 20 minutes long. I’ll show you, step-by-step, how to sketch the basic outlines, fill them in (mainly with watercolour paint), create engagement, and make accommodations for various abilities and losses.

New content added every month

I’ll add two new lessons every single month with various materials, including watercolour painting and modelling clay.

Organized by season

The art lessons are organized by season, making it easy for you to offer timely subject matter. Many of the art lessons are based on nature, which is forever changing and inspiring while keeping the subject matter to neutral territory.

Membership Reviews

  • — Alten Wilmot

I took this course as a performing artist building my first project for the dementia population. Even though it was a different discipline from my own, the principals and foundation of this work are laid out so clearly with specific detail, making what can seem like a daunting task feel natural and enjoyable with a clear path to succeed.

  • — Michele Wilmot

The example lesson with Karl demonstrates gentle guidance in providing a light, open landscape to talk freely and paint from their own experiences and memories. The course is a great reminder of all the details needed to create a safe, healthy workspace for members attending. The light humour that is introduced and repeated is funny and enjoyable for everyone.

You may be thinking to yourself, “I want to invest in this program, but I’m just not sure”.  That’s understandable.

You may be feeling you don’t have the budget, or worried that this might be something too outside of your wheelhouse or unfamiliar to invest in.

Those concerns are really about wanting to offer only the best to the people who are living with dementia in your care.

Remember that these art lessons will save you time, money and energy, with simple step-by-step lessons at the click of a button.

Focus on the change you could be making in the lives of those in your care, and how much relief you will feel to not have to try out different lessons without knowing how well they will work.

What if Blue Balloon can make dementia-friendly art lesson planning as easy as the click of a button?
